Assist in the implementation of Change to the Card Operations department of Lloyds TSB Bank through the testing of new system and software developments, project management, assessment of work requests and system parameter maintenance.

Main responsibilities include:
  • Constructing test plans, scripts in the period leading up to the test phase
  • Completing test scripts to ensure functionality of the development is as documented
  • Implement automation procedures for large scale testing and data setup
  • Raise fault logs where errors are discovered and re-test as necessary
  • Liaise with project managers, system testers and operation & support areas during test phase to give updates and ensure development remains in line with current processes
  • Provide post operational support to the operational areas

Due to my IT knowledge I have been able to implement database, spreadsheet and VBScript Macro solutions for test automation which have increased the team's efficiency in gathering & manipulation of data prior to testing, analysis of test data following testing and production of test metrics.

Following my recent ISEB Software Testing / ISTQB qualification I have been involved in introducing testing best practices into the team including investigating solutions for test automation and re-writing templates for Test Plans & Scripts

I am experienced in the installation of Microsoft Windows 95/98/XP, Microsoft Office Suites (including Word and PowerPoint), Microsoft Visual Studio, as well as other common Windows Applications.

I am capable of utilizing the above products to their full potential and have had considerable experience with Microsoft Access, Excel, Visual Basic 6 and Visual Interdev.

Although Microsoft Interdev is my primary HTML editor, I have used Dreamweaver 2, and FrontPage.
